The UCF men's soccer team relied on freshman defender Jem Hewlett to lead the team to a 2-0 victory over the Jacksonville Dolphins on Thursday.Both goals came from set pieces, assisted by senior forward/midfielder Clarence Awoudor to Hewlett. UCF Homecoming's "Comedy Knight" brought hundreds of students together on Wednesday night at Addition Financial Arena for a night of humor, music and community.The event featured headliner Karlous Miller, known for his work on “Wild' N Out," with comedian Chris Jones as the opener. UCF students participate in school's arboretum expansion, promote environmental stewardship

UCF students gathered Friday at the campus arboretum to plant native flowers and expand the Birds Garden as part of an event promoting environmental awareness by Knighthawk Audubon. The Planting Day event at the Audubon Garden took place from 1 to 3 p.m. and allowed students to get directly involved with the UCF Arboretum's public garden. Students learned about native species while contributing to the creation and maintenance of habitats for local birds on campus.

UCF men's soccer defeated the Jacksonville Dolphins off a two-goal performance from a freshman at home on Thursday, earning its second win of the season.The game began with both teams exerting pressure, with Jacksonville generating a shot that UCF senior goalkeeper Juanvi Muñoz blocked.
