About Me
I was born in Bogota, Colombia, on May 15th, 2004. I lived in Colombia until 2020, when, due to the pandemic, I had to leave my country and start my professional education abroad.
When I arrived in the United States, I started to have more experience using cameras and engaging in social media, among other things. At Broward College in South Florida, I learned more about making audiovisual content and started creating my content based on my tastes. I created my first TikTok channel about Hispanic music; I am also working on my photographic portfolio using analog photography, which is where I stand out the most.
I have always been passionate about communication in all its forms. Ever since I discovered film, journalism, and photography, I have understood that it is not just about telling stories, but about connecting with people and offering new perspectives on the world around us. I am interested in how an image, an article, or a scene can evoke emotions, inform, and leave a lasting impression. I am currently studying at UCF, where I am focused on continuing to grow both personally and professionally, to develop my own voice within the field of communication.
Since arriving at UCF, I have had the opportunity to take my first steps in journalism through The Charge, where I have written about sports and campus social events. These experiences have allowed me to better understand how to connect with a real audience and work under tight deadlines. At the same time, I have also worked as a photographer for the Fashion Society Club, covering its events and developing my visual skills in dynamic environments. Both experiences have been key in strengthening my ability to tell stories from different angles and continue growing in what I am truly passionate about.
